Progress Pathways Ltd was incorporated as a limited company in 2008. It is run by Jane Drinnan-Payne and Robert Payne.

Jane is the Managing Director and is a qualified Learning Disability nurse. Jane has always had a keen interest in working with service users whose behaviours can challenge and very early on in her career she completed a year long accreditation with the Institute of Applied Behaviour Analysis (LaVigna and Willis). This gave her an excellent foundation to describe, assess and develop interventions for behaviours which challenge individuals and services. Jane later went on to complete a Diploma with the Hester Adrian Centre at Manchester University in Positive Approaches to Challenging Behaviour (2000) and a Masters Degree in Analysis and Intervention in Learning Disabilities at the Tizard Centre (2005). Over the years, Jane has developed, trained and run a comprehensive number of complex behavioural management programmes.

As well as a strong clinical focus, Jane has substantial operational expertise. Her management career began in 1994, managing a small community project. Since then she has held several senior management positions within secure services and community services. She has a strong background in HR, budget management, quality assurance systems, developing paperwork and protocols, and bringing services up to the standards expected by stakeholders and the Care Quality Commission.

Robert is an engineer by trade, whose main focus is the establishment and performance of the business. As well as being a Company Director, he is also the Secretary, managing the day to day affairs of Progress Pathways Ltd.
